Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will launch for PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025. The announcement was made during a special panel hosted by Hideo Kojima at the SXSW conference. Fans who pre-order the Collector’s Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition will get advanced access to the game, being able to play from June 24. The game continues the story of the original Death Stranding, with Sam and his companions embarking on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. The standard edition of Death Stranded 2 will be priced at $69.99, while the collector’s Edition will cost $229.99. Pre-orders for all editions will begin on March 17, and the game will be available for pre-orders on the PlayStation Store starting on April 1, 2015, with pre-ordered versions starting at $49.99 for the standard edition and $79.99 on the Collector’s Edition. The Digital Deluxe edition also offers early access and additional in-game items.
