Elon Musk threatens to fire all US federal employees who fail to submit a detailed accounting of their work week. Musk, who heads the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration, responded to a post by an X user who pointed out how the Tesla CEO asked the same thing of Agrawal almost three years ago. In response, Musk said that Parag was ousted from X for not doing anything. The email sent from a human resources address gives employees until 11:59 pm EST on Monday to respond. The subject line of the email harks back to Musk’s poser to Agrawals three years earlier. In his curt response, the tech billionaire had asked the former X CEO: \”What did you get done this week?\” The public exchange was viewed as a major fallout between the two, which eventually prompted Musk to fire Ag Rawal from X. In an earlier version of this article, we incorrectly stated that the email was sent by the Department of Government Efficiency.
