Mumbai City FC qualify for the playoffs of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 with a 2-0 win against Bengaluru FC. Lallianzuala Chhangte and Nikolaos Karelis scored a goal each. The Islanders finished the league season at the sixth spot with 36 points, whereas the Gerard Zaragoza-coached side ended its league campaign with 38 points. The team still walked away with three points, securing a spot in the top six eventually. Both Mumbai City FC and BengaluruFC will be playing in the playoffs next. The ISL will be played in India for the first time in 25 years on March 11, 2025, at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The final will take place on March 16, 2025 at the same venue, with the final to be played on March 17, 2025. The winner of the ISL 2025 will be announced on March 18, 2025 and the winner will go on to play in the next ISL season.
