Pradeep Jat, 27, collapsed and died while sitting on his wedding mare in MP’s Sheopur district on Friday night. He was seen dancing at his baraat and later mounted his horse, but soon slumped against it, appearing fatigued before becoming unresponsive. Initially believed to be exhausted, guests attempted CPR before rushing him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The bride lost consciousness upon learning about his death, and his last rites were conducted the following day. Just a week earlier, a 23-year-old woman died while dancing at a sangeet function in Vidisha district in MP’s MP’s Sheopal district. The groom was a former district president of NSUI and a member of the Indian National Union of Nurses and Midwives (INM), a trade union federation. He is survived by his wife, two children and a mother-of-two. He leaves behind a wife and a son.
