The lost and found camp, popularly known as ‘Bhoole Bhatke Shivir’, is working 24×7 to reunite lost and missing people with their families during mega religious fairs. The camp has reunited a total of 15,54,208 people till now ( since its formation) This Maha Kumbh, we have reunited as many as 16,104 adults (9,129 male and 6,975 female) and 11 children. A total of 44,455 people, including 44,382 adults and 73 children, were reunited in the 2019 KumbH Mela. In the 2024 Magh Mela also, atotal of 5,142 adults and 134 kids were reunited. There are 30 active volunteers whose three generations have worked on the banks of the Ganga. For them, the reunion of family is the most pious work. This year, the volunteers have worked tirelessly under the theme ‘Surakshit Ghar Wapsi’ (Ensure safe return to home), and it was the 79th consecutive year when the volunteers scripted many success stories.
