“Three students, out of the total six in Class 10 at Orchid International School in Sector 49, were stopped from appearing for Class 10 Board exams following row over admit cards. Parents who had been pursuing the school management for over a week for the admit cards, were left frustrated when their children couldn’t appear for the crucial examination on Feb 10. Parents also claimed that the school has misleading signage, claiming CBSE affiliation, outside the Sector 41 school. But it appears that it apparently referred to another branch in Dwarka, Sector 19. Meanwhile, the principal said they would file a high court petition for re-examination admit card, citing documentation issues on the part of parents that led to CBSE’s rejection. \”This morning, we counselled the students and their parents. We have also moved to court to get the re- examination done and to get students seated for the other exams,\” said Deya Banerjee, principal of the school.
