Two dead in blast at explosives manufacturing firm in Nagpur. Blast took place at SBL Energy Limited in Kotwalbudi in Katol tehsil. Blast caused a minor fire in the surrounding thicket, which has been doused. A probe has begun into the cause of the incident, a police official said. The blast took place some 50 kilometres from the district headquarters, he added. The incident occurred at 1:30pm on Sunday, a senior police official told CNN-IBN. He said two people were killed and several others were injured in the blast, which took place in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district on Sunday. The official said a probe into the incident has been launched, but no arrests have been made. He added that the blast was caused by an explosion at an explosives manufacturing company in the area. The explosion occurred at a factory in Kot Walbudi, some 50km from Nagpur’s district HQ, he said.
