Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava has become a massive success at the box office. The film, which tells the story of Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has earned an impressive Rs 691 crore worldwide. This makes it the biggest hit of VickyKaushal’s career, surpassing the lifetime earnings of Gadar 2, which had made Rs 686 crore globally. In India alone, Chhava has collected Rs 525.7 crore within four weeks. The movie saw a boost in collections after its Telugu version was released on March 7. Despite a slight dip in earnings due to the Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand, the film still managed to perform well at thebox office. Looking ahead, the movie is expected to benefit from the upcoming Holi weekend, which could further boost its earnings. It is now aiming to cross the Rs 700 crore mark globally, cementing its place as one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times. It has also recorded the second-highest fourth-weekend collection in Bollywood history, after Pushpa 2. It earned Rs 28.43 crore in its fourth weekend, showing its strong hold at box office despite competition.
