Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday hailed the youths of the state. He said they can overcome any challenge with the government’s support. Speaking at a loan distribution function in Meerut, he said, ”For youths, a challenge is not a challenge.” The youths of Uttar Pradedh have worked to take themselves forward, he added. The state is currently in the grip of an anti-corruption campaign by the state government. The campaign has been launched by the Uttar Pradesh Police to crack down on corruption in the state and ensure justice for the victims of crime. The government has also launched a campaign to tackle the problem of youth unemployment in Uttar Pradesh, which is estimated to be at an all-time high at around 30 per cent. The number of unemployed youth in the country is at a record high, according to a survey by the National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSR). The state has been in the throes of a political crisis since the beginning of the year, with more than 1,000 people arrested for various offences, including rioting and drug-related offences.
