Yashasvi Jaiswal ruled out of Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy semi-final against Vidarbha. The batsman injured his right ankle during training over the weekend. Mumbai will not be naming a replacement as they have sufficient resources within the squad. Varun Chakaravarthy replaced him in the final 15-member touring side for India’s Champions Trophy 2025 squad, but is now expected to return home. Jaiswalk made his ODI debut against England earlier this month in Nagpur, replacing Virat Kohli, who was unavailable due to a knee issue. The semi-finals will be a rematch of last year’s title clash, with Mumbai looking to defend their title. Vidarbh, in superb form, have won seven out of their eight games this season, coming into the match after defeating Tamil Nadu by 198 runs in the quarterfinal. The final will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur on February 17. The match will be broadcast live on the Indian Television Network (ITV)
